The Chamber of Beirut and Mount Lebanon (CCI-ABML) concluded successfully the Heritage Spin Offs two events of Presentations and Brokerage meetings held on September 19, 2023, at the Beirut Digital District.

The event showcased presentations and united the nine iHeritage subgrantees, ICT and innovation businesses, archeologists, architects, cultural heritage passionate and representatives of media. . The meeting started with an engaging introduction to Beirut Chamber and iHeritage project by Hana Nehme, Director of Projects, at CCIA-BML. Dr. Nada Elias, Professor at the Lebanese University-Department of Arts & Archaeology, moderated the launch of the spin-Off pitch. The spotlight on innovation in cultural heritage featured the introduction of Spin Offs Projects by iHeritage’s nine sub grantees.

The subsequent session comprised Brokerage meetings, where subgrantees engaged in one-on-one dialogues with Lebanese enterprises, investors, and pioneers, paving the way for insightful conversations and prospective partnerships. These two events successfully served as a platform to showcase the innovative projects in cultural heritage supported by iHeritage and facilitated networking and collaboration among businesses, investors, and innovators in the field.

The next phase of this journey involves assisting the 9 subgrantees in registering as new companies. Additionally, the project will ensure Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) protection by registering their patents with the concerned Lebanese administrations.
