IHeritage coordination meeting between CCIABML & Directorate General of Antiquities

Beirut Chamber embarked recently as key partner in the consortium of the EU funded project IHERITAGE. Within this context, a coordination meeting took place at Beirut Chamber headquarter between the Director General of Beirut Chamber Mr. Rabih Sabra, Director General of the Directorate General of Antiquities (DGA) at Ministry of Culture Mr. Sarkis EL Khoury, in presence of Head of projects, Hana Nehme and iHERITAGE Expert Prof. Daniel Asmar.

The meeting discussions tackled the synergies that could be generated by the IHERITAGE to build on ongoing activities and initiatives of DGA, particularly with special focus on Byblos Heritage site.Further meetings will take place with the archeological experts of DGA in preparation for the upcoming activities and next steps of the project.
